Hi, I'm Tony DeGenaro
I am a writing teacher & a poet. This Fall I will be joining the English Department at Ohio Dominican University as an Assistant Professor.
I have a Ph.D. in English from Wayne State University and an M.F.A. in Poetry from University of San Francisco. My B.A. is from Otterbein University. I have done Youth Arts Instruction in creative writing with InsideOut Literary Arts and ACCESS 21st Century Youth & Education. I just finished a one-year visiting position as a Lecturer in the English Department at University of Detroit Mercy. I previously taught at Wayne State University and University of Michigan Dearborn. I am a native of Youngstown, Ohio, and current resident of the Greater Columbus Area. I am a casual runner, baseball and food fan (both eating & cooking), occasional pop culture and music critic, and proud doggie dad to my dachshunds Desi & Poppy. (Yes, that is a Twister necktie, and yes, I did defend my dissertation wearing it.) |
